The Silk Road
For thousands of years the Silk Road, the shifting route that connected the Orient to the Mediterranean basin, was both the symbol and the favored channel for the cultural, artistic, philosophical and technological exchanges that formed worldwide culture.
Of the relics from those times, seemingly nothing remains other than heaps of ruins scattered here and there, and an impassible cultural trench between two worlds and two incompatible ways of viewing worldwide humanity, facing each other in sclerotic mental stillness. Mission Prometheus wants to make its contribution so that those dusty ruins will no longer be an insurmountable "wall of ideas” , but can return to being a common bridge on which confrontations can be transformed and regenerated as shared renewal.
